This is a repaint of the Sib Wings Lab SAAB 91B Safir.
The texture can only be used with the original aircraft available att www.sibwings.com.

SE-EDD is a Safir c, manufactured in 1954 with serial number 91.318
I have repainted it from my memory only since I havn't found any pictures that shows it in its latest guise. It was twenty years since I last saw it so I can't claim that it's accurate in anyway but I believe a red Safir is beautiful.

When it first crossed my path was in the 1970:s when it was flown by the "top brass" at SAAB.It remained airworthy until 1996. In 2006 the aircraft was handed over to an association of enthusiasts which intend to get it back in the air soon.

I hope you will enjoy it !

A few historical facts about the aircraft and it's markings:

3. Unpack the texture folder in SE_EDD.zip into folder "texture.SE-EDD", overwriting files (there are three files)
4. Edit the "aircraft.cfg" file adding the following "fltsim" section:

[fltsim.x]

texture =SE-EDD
kb_checklists = safirC_check
kb_reference = safirC_ref
atc_id = SE-EDD
atc_id_color =
atc_parking_types =

ui_manufacturer = SAAB
ui_type = 91C Safir
ui_variation = SE-EDD

Don't forget to change the "x" into the appropriate number in sequence.

I hope it will work !
